ADDITIONAL TRAINING & KUNG FU LIFE
In addition to in-class training, the School offers any interested student the opportunity to participate in a range of local and national events that are designed to complement the student's regular training. The events, which typically focus on a particular topic of training Ving Tsun Kung Fu, include seminars, workshops, workout weekends, and road trips.

PREVIOUS EVENTS

February, 2011 - Holiday Meal
Students from the Omaha school and Lincoln club gathered—belatedly—to enjoy a meal and an evening of socializing in honor of the holiday season. This year's event was, once again, held at Clancy's.  The pizza was hot, the beverages were cold, and the fireplace kept everyone warm.  In addition to the meal, many kung fu stories were shared and the students presented their sifu with a gift.

August, 2010 – Moy Bing Wah Seminar (Virginia Beach, VA)
Moy Bing Wah, a direct student of Yip Man and kung fu brother of Great Grandmaster Moy Yat, conducted a kung fu workshop in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  During the course of the three-day workout, Moy Bing Wah worked directly with many generations of kung fu students, sharing his boundless energy and his unique interpretations of the Ving Tsun system with all in attendance.  Grandmaster Moy Tung, Master Moy Yat Tung, and students from Brooklyn, NY, Detroit, MI, Iowa City, IA, Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, Richmond, VA, Sheboygan, WI, and Virginia Beach, VA attended.

June, 2010 – Detroit School Anniversary Seminar (Detroit, MI)
Grandmaster Moy Tung, Master Moy Yat Tung, along with other Ving Tsun sifus, led training sessions over the course of three days to commemorate the anniversary of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun school in Detroit.  Members of the Omaha school joined Ving Tsun students from around the country in the weekend’s training and surrounding festivities.

April, 2010 - Master Moy Yat Tung Workout (Virginia Beach, VA)
Master Moy Yat Tung held a three-day kung fu workshop in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Senior kung fu students focused on kwan training while the workshop offered other practitioners another opportunity to focus on the details of “well-known” kung fu drills.  Students from Brooklyn, NY, Denver, CO, Detroit, MI, Iowa City, IA, Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, Minneapolis, MN, New Haven, CT, Richmond, VA, and Virginia Beach, VA attended.
