ADDITIONAL TRAINING & KUNG FU LIFE
In addition to in-class training, the School offers any interested student the opportunity to participate in a range of local and national events that are designed to complement the student's regular training. The events, which typically focus on a particular topic of training Ving Tsun Kung Fu, include seminars, workshops, workout weekends, and road trips.

Winter 2008 - Focused Topic Classes
This winter we will peridocally continue to have a series of classes where we focus on one particular aspect of kung fu training in a given week. We have already explored energy in kung fu, striking, and several other topics this past fall. Future topics include relaxation, kicking, conditioning, and more.

December 17, 2007 - Holiday Meal
Students from the Omaha school gathered together after a light forms training class for a meal and socializing. This year's event was once again held at Clancy's - one of the school's favored hangouts. The pizza was hot, the beverages were cold, and the fireplace kept everyone warm and helped everyone enjoy the festive holiday season. In addition to the meal, gifts were exchanged, many stories were told, and the students presented their sifu with a gift.
October 19-21, 2007 - Master Moy Yat Tung Workout (Iowa City, IA)
Master Moy Yat Tung, assisted by several of his senior students—many of whom are themselves kung fu sifus, will hold a three-day kung fu workshop in Iowa City. The workshop will offered several different training sessions, each focusing on different kung fu concepts and details. Students from Brooklyn, NY, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Detroit, MI, Iowa City, IA, Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, Milwaukee, WI, Minneapolis, MN, New Haven, CT, St. Louis, MO, and Virginia Beach, VA are expected to attend.
